Evaluating and addressing lapses in Professional Values, Attitudes, and Behaviors is essential but often uncomfortable for doctoral psychology training faculty. This training focuses on strategies for accurately identifying professionalism concerns, conducting fair and evidence-based evaluations, and delivering constructive, growth-oriented feedback and remediation plans. Participants will refine skills for documenting concerns, differentiating level of risk, engaging trainees in collaborative remediation, and implementing follow-up monitoring to support trainee development and protect clients and the training program.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Attendees will identify at least one structured method for documenting professionalism concerns with behavioral, observable examples and objective data.
- Attendees will be able to articulate the learning elements associated with the Professional Values, Attitudes, and Behaviors PWC.
- Attendees will identify at least one new method for providing difficult feedback.

Dr. Jenna Symons is a Senior Training & Accreditation Specialist with Clover Educational Consulting Group. She has been with Clover since 2017 and has supported multiple doctoral training programs through their development and accreditation process. Prior to joining Clover, Dr. Symons served as the training director for a large internship consortium.
