The challenge of training interns in APA’s Profession-Wide Competency (PWC) in Individual and Cultural Diversity often arises from the broad and evolving nature of diversity. This webinar will begin with an overview of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes interns are expected to demonstrate upon completion of internship in relation to individual and cultural diversity. The training will then provide both traditional and innovative strategies for development in this area. Emphasis will be placed on cultivating self-awareness, cultural humility, and responsiveness to diverse client populations, ensuring both interns and training sites benefit from a more inclusive and culturally informed learning environment.
