Sponsorship Application Fee
If you have submitted a proposal for Clover to sponsor CE's for a live event, please submit payment of the Sponsorship Application Fee of $75 by "Submit Payment" below. Clover’s CE Planning and Review Committee will not review live event proposals for CE sponsorship until the application fee is received.
Review Process
Clover’s CE Planning and Review Committee will review all completed Continuing Education Proposal Forms and respond to the instructor via email within 30 days with one of the following decisions:
Proposal Accepted- Full Submission Invited
Proposals will be accepted if the CE Planning and Review Committee determines that the course builds upon a doctoral degree in psychology and meets Clover’s goals and APA’s requirements related to Continuing Education programming. Once the proposal has been accepted, the instructor may prepare and submit the full components of a Continuing Education program. See below for further details and next steps.
Proposal Returned with Request for Information
If the CE Planning and Review Committee believes that the proposed course likely meets Clover’s goals and APA’s requirements related to Continuing Education programming, but requires additional information or clarification in order to make that determination, Clover will return the proposal with specific questions to be addressed. The instructor is encouraged to respond to the request within 30 days so the proposal can continue through the review process.
Proposal Declined
Proposals for programs that the CE Planning and Review Committee determines do not build upon a doctoral degree in psychology, do not have empirical support, or otherwise do not meet Clover’s goals and/or APA’s requirements related to Continuing Education programming will be declined.
Next Steps for Accepted Proposals
Upon receiving notification of a “Proposal Accepted- Full Submission Invited” decision, the instructor may prepare and submit the full components of a Continuing Education Program via email to continuing.education@clovered.org. A full submission includes each of the following:
- Signed Instructor’s Agreement
- Presenter CV
- Any promotional materials you plan to utilize to advertise the CE offering
- Presenter brief bio (max 300 words)
- Presenter headshot for website (optional)
- Full course presentation (created in the platform indicated on the proposal form and recorded using instructions provided by Clover)
- Post-test with answer key (include 6-8 multiple-choice questions per course hour, no true/false questions)
For on-demand courses, full submissions will be reviewed by Clover’s Planning and Review Committee to ensure audiovisual quality as well as adherence to the approved presentation content. Programs will be contacted within 30 days with the outcome of this review, which may include acceptance of the full submission or a request for revisions. Presenters whose presentations are accepted for full submission will be asked to sign an Instructor’s Agreement before their presentation is made available to the public.

Clover’s Planning and Review Committee is committed to supporting instructors in preparing a submission which meets all requirements, and will work with the instructor to support the revision process if necessary. Payment of royalties by Clover to instructors of on-demand courses will be made only upon acceptance of the full submission of an on-demand Continuing Education program.
