Supervising the Supervisors:  When Intern Competence is in Question

Thursday, May 21 at 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM Central

Trainer: Dr. Carol Falendar

2.0 CE Credit Hours

Join us on May 21st as we welcome Dr. Carol Falender, a leader in the field of clinical supervision, for a continuing education program on supervising supervisors and navigating challenges when intern competence is in question.

Clinical supervision, a subject in which little training is received, provides the foundation for development and competence of trainees.  This program will focus on management of critical incidents that occur in training and strategies to address those.  Steps include identification of the incident, leadership responsibility for managing incidents,  management of multiple staff and trainees, remediation, and generally dealing with supervisees with problems of professional competence.

Dr. Falendar has no conflicts of interest to report related to this training.
