Abstract:
Internship programs must provide interns with training in all 9 APA Profession-Wide
Competencies (PWCs). This presentation will discuss ways in which programs can
ensure interns receive comprehensive training in all PWCs. This presentation will
support internship programs in updating their curriculum as needed to incorporate
unique approaches to training in the PWCs

Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
1. Identify all 9 of the Profession-Wide Competencies.
2. Connect training activities to learning elements of each PWC.
3. Identify at least 3 new training activities to incorporate into their curriculum.
